We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven person who is motivated to achieve operational efficiencies in a fast-paced environment to become our next General Manager in the rapidly growing Southwestern Ontario Region.Reporting to the Owners, the General Manager is accountable for a high-performance team that consistently achieves the revenue, profitability, and customer experience targets of the business. This person will have a proven track record in winning the respect of the entire team and driving results. They will be calculated, resourceful, and move swiftly to adapt to opportunities.This role will oversee our employees and the systems that generate our success in Stratford and surrounding locations. It will require a passion for constant learning and development.This role is centered around four core areas:Leadership · Manage employee performance and development. · Be a team builder, fostering a collaborative environment. · Have the ability to put in what is required to successfully lead by example. · Provide constant clear communication with key team members to keep ahead and up with challenges (example, supply chain concerns, labour force trends).Customer Service · Proactively engage with larger customers. · Ensure exceptional customer driven service. · Enhance our stores’ reputations and image.Oversee and Implement Systems · Responsible for overall profitability, wage cost, inventory management. · Oversee and inspect all operations, logistics, inbound and outbound, replenishment of inventory. · Complete staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage with maintaining wage cost targets. · Have accountability and control the store inventory, purchasing, receiving. · Scan and evaluate the business for efficiencies, waste and opportunities. · Solve problems with intelligent creative solutions.Analysis · Drive sales and profitability to achieve overall growth targets. · Manage wage costs, budgets and inventory. · Apply forward thinking financial awareness to anticipate risks and opportunities · Consistently track sales, average sales, traffic counts in company spreadsheets, excel.Knowledge, skills and abilities we are looking for:
