Job Description

The general purpose of this position is to maintain desktop systems and custom software. The job incumbent is responsible for desktop support for inside and remote workers. He/she must support Systems Analyst in delivery of special technology projects. Support Maintenance of all hardware including workstations, printers, fax machines, etc.Responsibilities:

  • Provide level one response for users requiring assistance with Information Technology issues and problems
  • Respond and track requests for technical assistance by use of IT Ticketing System.
  • Responsible for setting up and maintaining workstations, related to phones, computers, monitors, etc.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
  • Support Printers and Display Boards
Essential Skills and Experience:Minimum 2 years studying or working in the IT Industry.Must have foundational knowledge of networking concepts.Must be Proficient in MS Windows 10, 11 Office 365Must have working knowledge of current and dated hardware and software technologies.Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.Strong Written and Verbal communication skillsBeneficial Skills and Experience:A+ or Net+ CertificationFamiliar with MS Server 2012-2019, Active Directory, DHCP,DNSPrevious experience in Help Desk Support an asset.Education:Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical trainingJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:
