Job Description

Qualifications :

  • Proof of negative TB skin test within 6 months
  • Proof of covid 19 vaccine (3 shots)
  • Current vulnerable sector police clearance check
  • PSW Certificate is an asset
  • Proof of work permit , Permanent Resident or citizenship
  • Foreign trained Nurses / Current Nursing students.
Responsibilities :
  • Assisting Residents with activities of daily living includes -washing/bathing/showering/oral hygiene/grooming/perineal care etc.
  • Assisting residents with transferring , locomotion , re-positioning programme.
  • Establish therapeutic relationship with residents and families.
  • Be a good teamplayer with good communication and leadership skills.

COVID-19 considerations:Wear a fit-tested, seal-checked N95 respirator, gown, gloves, and eye protection (face shield, goggles and some safety glasses) when providing direct care. Other appropriate PPE includes a well-fitted medical mask based on a point-of-care risk assessment.Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Stratford, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
