Job Description

Clinton, OntarioSeasonal -(March - November)Monday - Friday (40 + hrs / week)$25.00 – $50.00 / hourPiece work. paid by the job so the possibilities are endless.ABOUT THE JOBGoliath Roofing is currently looking for Roofing Installers. Experience in the Commercial and Residential Roofing Industry is an asset.You may perform some or all of the following, among other duties that may be assigned:

  • Follow instructions of Production Manager, Follow instructions of Foreman
  • Follow company policies and procedures, as well as legislative requirements
  • Maintain a safe and healthy worksite
  • Hoist material to and from roof using manual or electric hoist
  • Load and unload vehicles and trailers with equipment and supplies
  • Retrieve material from storage to bring to work areas
  • Secure attachments and loads
  • Stack and assemble materials into bundles and bands and tarp/secure material
  • Shovel material such as shingles and debris etc
  • Dry wet areas of the construction site
  • Cut, measure, clean, and lay construction material for application, and use tools such as power drill for attachment, and operate various equipment
  • General jobsite and yard cleanup and organization
  • Dispose of construction debris
  • Load and unload equipment and supplies
To be successful in this role, you will need the ability to:
  • Work in a fast pace environment
  • Must be able to climb ladders, work at heights, comfortably lift 40+ pounds and must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time.
  • Install, Remove old roofs and Repair roofs
  • Work outside in varying temperatures and climate conditions
  • Ability to learn and follow our extensive company safety policy
  • Work in a team setting, be dependable and reliable
  • Have own driver’s licence and method of transportation
  • Have a willingness to learn and grow with our company
  • Maintain a safe work environment from set up to work completion
