Summerland Animal Clinic is looking for a registered veterinary health technician to join our family of veterinarians, assistants and receptionists!We are located in beautiful Summerland, British Columbia. Summerland sits on rolling plateaus that are covered in orchards and wineries within the Okanagan Valley. We are lucky to get to experience a sunny spring, a hot, dry summer, a truly beautiful fall and a temperate winter. The Okanagan Valley has plenty of snow in the winter months and Big White Ski Resort is only a short drive away!We are a fast paced small animal practice. We pride ourselves in being an upbeat, positive team and we are looking for someone who would fit well with our amazing family! We have multiple practices across the Okanagan (South Okanagan Animal Care Center, Westbank Animal Care Hospital, South Mission Animal Hospital, Fairfield Animal Hospital and Central Valley Veterinary Hospital).Not only do we provide medical treatment for our small animal patients, we also focus on nutrition and preventive medicine. We see referral patients from across the Okanagan Valley for orthopedic surgical correction procedures (CBLO, TPLO, fracture repair, FHO, lateral suture).We offer a wide range of benefits including a yearly uniform allowance, extended health/dental coverage, yearly health and wellness allowance, RSP matching program, paid continuing education, paid yearly technician dues, staff and friends and family discounting for veterinary care and more!Our practice is open Monday-Friday (8:30am – 5:00pm) and Saturday (8:30am – 2:00pm).Our sister clinic, Westbank Animal Care Hospital is also looking to expand their team!
