We are building a company that continuously strives to fulfill the needs of its current and future customers, and team members.We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our logistics team.ExperienceBooking, managing and coordinating deliveries of products across Canada and the USCoordinates product flow by working in a fast-paced environment to meet the needs of our clients and internal stakeholdersMaintains shipment tracking and reporting, updating the system and customer as neededHelps ensure all necessary import documentation is available to optimize custom duties, brokerage and demurrage chargesResponsible for rocking with carriers and internal stakeholders on damaged, missing freightEnsures that shipping and receiving records are entered into the system in accordance with quality procedures and reports any quantity/cost/quality discrepancies to the procurement specialistsAble to manage, lead and follow up with a team of customer service representativesExperience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable a definite asset (current software Progress Plus, moving to Quickbooks Desktop in 2023)Experience managing a CRM and/or with Monday.com an assetExperience with other HR duties an assetQualificationsCollege diploma or university certificate in transportation management, supply chain management or operations management would be considered an asset2+ years of experience working in a similar logistics roleExperience with the North American transportation market alongside good knowledge of geography and proven math skillsProblem-Solver - ability to solve problems, multi-task and set priorities while working independently in a high-performance team cultureOrganized - enjoys coordinating multiple tasks and activities at a time and stays extremely organizedExperience with managing multiple spreadsheets, multiple customers and shipments at a timeCustomer service experience with handling multiple vendors and maintaining great service levels and communication critical to this roleDetail-oriented - able to anticipate customer needs and track customer requests and requirements with easeBenefits of working with HAL and compensation in this roleThis is a hybrid role between logistics and administrative responsibilitiesPay range for this position is based on experience starting at $60,000 per yearBenefits after 3 months of employment include dental, medical, vision, extended health and morePerformance Incentive programVacation - starts at 2 weeks, negotiableEmployee Recognition programJob Type: Full-timeSalary: From $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:
