YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The PT Bookkeeper plays a crucial role managing the day-to-day and ensuring smooth functioning on the finance and administrative front. You will be responsible for:
  • Owning Nupoint Systems’ daily, monthly, and annual full-cycle bookkeeping tasks including:
  • Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and post journal entries.
  • Maintain well-kept and accurate books in QBO and physically if needed.
  • Provide client invoices with all the necessary and required details.
  • Monitor and record expenses while documenting and categorizing transactions correctly.
  • Administer benefit deductions, employee incentives, bonuses and all remittances.
  • Prepare monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Maintain organized and accurate general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Prepare GST and PST filings, make remittances and reconcile sales tax accounts.
  • Help with year-end reporting, including any required remittances.
  • Keeping an organized filing system for clients with accurate and easily retrievable documents.
  • Lead with professionalism and a customer-centric mindset when engaging with clients.
  • Manage Nupoint Systems’ incoming email correspondence and finance email inbox.
  • Assist other departments, such as Sales and Operations, where required.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
  • 2+ years of experience as a Full-Cycle Bookkeeper working with QuickBooks Online.
  • Versed and proven work experience in full-cycle accounting practices.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers, clients, and vendors.
  • You are detail-oriented and committed to delivering accurate bookkeeping work.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks, shift priorities and meet deadlines.
  • You’re self-driven with the ability to work on your own and seamlessly with a team.
NICE-TO-HAVES
  • Certificate, diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Bookkeeping.
  • Certified Professional Bookkeeper and/or QBO Certified ProAdvisor designations.
