Job Description

Summary StatementThe Order Processor in the Fulfillment area picks, packs, and shops order promptly and efficiently.As an Order Processor, duties include but are not limited to:

  • Picking items for customer orders in a defined order which may require assembly of custom packs, seasonal products, gift baskets and gift wrapping
  • Packing customer orders and double checking the items to ensure the order has been fulfilled prior to shipment
  • Printing shipping labels and coordinating with shipping couriers
  • Ensuring supplies are stocked in the fulfillment area at all times
  • Maintaining a clean and dust free workstation at all times
  • Consistently meeting daily production targets
  • Maintaining a “team-centered” atmosphere while being able to work independently
  • Performing other duties as assigned
All applicants MUST have:
  • Availability on Monday – Friday at 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Prefer full time availability. If part time, must be available at least 3 full weekdays
  • Afternoon and weekend shifts may be scheduled based on volume
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift up about 25 pounds
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform data entry tasks
  • Previous shipping and receiving experience is an asset
  • Previous experience with Excel is an asset
  • Complies with all company GMP’s; comply with SQF policies and procedures
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure, especially during Purdy’s Peak Seasons
  • Continuous Improvement and constantly finding new ways to improve the team process flow
  • Flexibility with duties, operational and administrative and ability to multi-task
  • Create and build relationships with the warehouse personnel
  • Team Player is a must
  • Ability to lift 40lb boxes
  • Helps with training of seasonal staff
