Job Description

If you are passionate about measuring twice and cutting once, or general tool use, we have an opportunity for you!As the Chop Operator Associate, you will be responsible for utilizing machinery and tools in order to trim, drill, and create products in accordance with the daily production schedule. The products will meet the clients quality of standards while maintaining safety policies as well.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all quality standards are met on final products
  • Operate both heavily automated robotics as well as hand tools in order to complete work orders accurately and efficiently
  • Work with plastic material to form shells for products
  • Perform data entry in computer terminals and monitoring stations
  • Loading/unloading of finished and unfinished products from the automated equipment in a safe and careful manner
  • Perform equipment setup and teardown at the start and end of shifts
  • Perform consistent inspections of all equipment
  • Provide on-the-job training for new hires
  • Complete daily production schedules as determined by the supervisor
  • Proactively follow quality, safety, and procedure standards
  • Any other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:
  • Ability to confidently use hand tools
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs
  • Oral and written English communication
  • Must be clean-shaven to wear protective equipment properly
  • Confidence to operate equipment with a computerized interface
Availability:
  • Shifts are from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
