Duties include but are not limited to: oversight activities to ensure compliance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations; review and approval of company manuals; review and approval of aircraft maintenance schedules, issuance of flight permits, ministers delegate monitoring; Aircraft Maintenance Engineer licensing; and certification of approved maintenance, manufacturing and training organizations.
