That is why we are committed to providing rewarding, long-term opportunities to help you achieve your goals with us.About the RoleOur 3PL Logistics Sales and Coordinator will report directly to the Dispatch Manager of Posse Trucking, our Asset Based Flatbed Division. The candidate will be an expert in identifying leads, provide quotes, closing deals and position us an industry leader.Quote Freight and Manage Projects

  • Supply competitive shipping quotes to clients and new prospects
  • Manage customer accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure successful projects
  • Generate positive relationships with all customers, prospects, drivers and owner-operators
  • Maintain margin goals and quote targets set by the company
Customer Outreach
  • Identify inactive shippers and liaise with Operations & Sales to contact them
  • Team up with Operations and Sales to build pipeline, close deals and achieve sales targets
Assisting Dispatch
  • Ensuring that the dispaters have a full pipeline of freight to fill their daily schedule.
  • Dispatcher holiday coverage
  • Inputting freight bills
  • Communicating with drivers about current and upcoming jobs
Your QualificationsYou will be set up for success if you have:
  • Experience and knowledge of North American over the road trucking and logistics (dispatching, freight brokerage, sales, etc.) or Ocean Forwarding
  • Knowledge or experience of flatbed trucking as asset
  • Proven sales & negotiation skills with the ability to influence others
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with successful sales techniques
  • Computer proficiency, including MS Office and dispatch management software
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with motivation to set and exceed goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively and prioritize tasks as needed
