Job Description

We are currently looking for a logistics coordinator who will be handing ocean/air import shipments as well as trucking.We offer a competitive compensation package, including company paid extended health and work from home benefits.   • Supervise Import shipping documents
  • Conduct sales calls to get new customers on board.
  • Provide quotations and oversee the invoices to clients and agents
  • Facilitate all aspects of cargo importation until goods are successfully delivered to clients
  • Follow up with CBSA on issues of inspection and/or examination if required.
  • Market our freight products and key contract rates to agents, customers and other vendors locally as well as in US.
  • Negotiate with vendors, trucker and agents for competitive rates.
Requirements:
  • Computer knowledge and basic MS office is a must.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of freight forwarding/logistics - handling FCL/LCL/Air - is a must
  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented team player with strong communication skills and customer service skills
  • Quick learner; ability to adapt and thrive under pressure
  • Must have a high level of organisation
  • Must have proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $37,880.97-$60,682.94 per yearAdditional pay:
