Today, we are the largest game server host in the Asia-Pacific region and offer support for an ever-growing list of games, including ARK, Rust, Valheim and more.Our mission is to make it easy and affordable for anyone to operate any kind of internet service at any scale. Otherwise, other vacancies for our innovative team can be found at *************ABOUT THE ROLEAs one of our IT Assistants, you will work broadly within the IT Department, assisting with system management, maintaining and enforcing security policies, backup management, internal IT assistance for our team members and various routine IT management tasks. IT Assistants are early members of the IT Department, whose job is to help build the department systems & procedures and later specialise in a specific area.WHAT YOULL DO

  • Respond to service outages & incidents.
  • Manage & update the company service status page.
  • Resolve internal support requests.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Create and maintain documentation for use of internal systems.
  • Maintain internal security policies.
  • Maintain backups & data recovery procedures.
  • Setup and maintain user accounts.
  • Schedule and perform maintenance.
  • Schedule and perform security audits.
  • Install, update & configure software.
  • Perform routine audits of internal infrastructure.
  • Expand & optimise infrastructure & systems.
  • Respond to internal service desk queries.
REQUIRED CRITERIA
  • Prior experience working within an IT environment.
  • Prior experience using Docker.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Experience installing and configuring database systems such as MySQL.
  • Strong understanding of Linux server management.
  • Ability to write simple automation scripts in Bash or other programming languages.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
  • Ability to manage source code with Git.

  • Experience with Kubernetes.
