As a Lead, Health Care Information Systems (HCIS), you will provide day to day hands-on support, as part of the Clinical Technology Services ( CTS ) team. With the aim of optimizing health system efficiency and radically improving provider experience, you will work closely with team members to provide leadership in a number of technology areas.Build on your education and career experience as you:Develop, implement, maintain and support clinical systems infrastructure, with an emphasis on servers, storage, network and cloud technologies, including: Microsoft, Linux, VMWare and Cisco Networks.Perform as the TI&S point of contact to enterprise-wide projects.Support clinical areas by demonstrating excellent customer service and strong technical leadership.Collaborate with team members to identify risks and implement IT solutions.Provide technical expertise to assigned projects, utilizing department processes, tools and knowledge.Demonstrate transparency by contributing to department process documentation and KPI reporting.Communicate effectively (verbally and in writing), explaining technical concepts/plans to non-technical users.Identify opportunities for continual service improvement and innovation.Deliver high quality IT infrastructure solutions, helping our team to be the Best in health care.Are you motivated to join us We will be looking for you to have the following:Bachelors degree, Certificate or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.Five (5) years recent experience performing IT system and infrastructure administration.Including experience with health and corporate information systems such as MEDITECH, Cerner and Epic.Experience with network administration, CompTIA Network+, CCNA, CCNP and CCIE certifications preferred. Cloud technology, project management and ITIL certification is desirable. Applicants with script automation and software development skills should also consider applying.An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.This full-time position is based out of our Central City Offices, Surrey, B.C.
