Job Description

Om Foods Inc. is an organic foods importer, packager, and retailer located in South Surrey, BC. We are currently looking for one Production Supervisor for Liquids Handling to join our 26-person team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, detail-oriented, and hard-working.Responsibilities

    *Optimizing the flow of materials and packaging to ensure efficient production. *Operating manual and automated liquid packaging machines. *Supervising and coordinating team members for optimal production. *Training employees in regards to equipment, procedures, and systems. *Maintaining a clean and organized production area with special consideration towards foods safety standards. *Inventory tracking and management using ERP software. *Work in coordination with other departments to ensure that production aligns with incoming and outgoing needs. *Assisting with inventory receiving and management as needed. *Reporting and preventing safety incidents. *35-40 hr/wk, day shift only
Qualifications/Experience
    *Min. 2-yr experience in food production with preference for supervision and liquids handling. *Experience with ERP systems. *Experience with spreadsheet and document software. *Foodsafe Level 1 *Preference for First Aid training. *Preference given for forklift and reach truck tickets. *Fluency in English, preference to other relevant language proficiencies.
