More than just a job, CLBC is about compassion, commitment, contribution, collaboration and community.The Role:As a Quality Service Analyst at CLBC, you are responsible for representing CLBC as the primary point of contact for service providers.Accountabilities include:

  • Identifying opportunities for agency service reorganization and assisting with the implementation
  • Negotiating contract costing details and advising on requirements for corrective action in contracted service delivery
  • Ensuring that individuals and their families receive information about individual resource allocation decisions
  • Consulting with Facilitators about support requests and needs, service availability and resource suitability for the individuals we serve to assess a variety of issues
  • Working with the Facilitator in assisting individuals and their families who are experiencing a crisis
  • Recruiting and developing new service relationships
  • Providing information to assist in the investigation of licensed residential resources
  • Creating innovative options and responses to address individual and community needs
Key duties include:
  • Developing standardized service contracts or Individual Funding Agreements and negotiating the costing details and quantities
  • Liaising with the manager and other key staff regarding current funding limitations or delays and participating as a team member in local budget management
  • Receiving monitoring reports from service providers and individuals, families and friends:
    • and when a contract is individualized, reviewing to ensure plan objectives have been met; identify potential issues and concerns
    • conduct on-site reviews (staffed residential facilities, homes, day programs, etc.) as necessary and investigate service provider competency issues
  • Receiving financial reports from service providers and reviewing details to ensure delivery of agreed-upon services for approved funding supports
Qualifications:
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelors degree in Business, Social Work, or a related discipline
  • Experience working in the social services sector in areas such as resource development or contract management
  • An equivalent combination of relevant education/experience may be considered
Possession of a Class 5 drivers license and a clean drivers abstract are required.Location: Utilizing a hybrid working model, this position combines on-site office work with work from home flexibility within BC after passing a 6 month probationary period.Travel: Occasional local travel will be required for this role.Additional Info:This is an auxiliary position on the Local team Auxiliaries may be hired for project work, or to cover vacancies or leaves of varying lengthsTerm: Anticipated term end date of March 31, 2024Classification/Salary: Social Program Officer (Growth to R24) / Position starts at $32.46 to $36.44 hourlyThe health and safety of our team and communities is paramount to CLBC.
