We promote the conservation of fish and wildlife in the Province of British Columbia through the protection, acquisition and enhancement of fish and wildlife populations.The BC Conservation Foundation is seeking a hard-working, organized and self-motivated person to fill our Safety Program Administrator position. The ideal candidate is passionate about workplace safety and has a keen interest in environmental conservation. This individual brings a positive can-do attitude to the job and a willingness to learn, adapt and respond quickly while maintaining a high standard of attention to detail.Terms: 25 hours during office hours per week (Monday-Friday). You will also be on-call to respond to missed check-ins for field staff after office hours Monday-Thursday and will be on-call for fieldwork emergencies one weekend per month. You will receive 10 hours of compensation per week to cover worker check-ins and emergency calls outside of your 25 office hours per week.Total = 35 paid hours per week.Salary: $23.00 per hourLocation: This is a hybrid position. Most days you will be working remotely. Occasional meetings may be necessary at our Surrey or Kamloops offices as needed.Report to: Executive DirectorClosing Date: October 16, 2022You and the JobWorking closely with all levels of the organization, the Safety Program Administrator will provide health and safety support to projects.
