Job Description

Are you a natural leader with a passion for the automotive industry Our client, a leading provider of truck solutions, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager for their Truck Center. As a Service Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing the service operations, ensuring top-notch customer service and maximizing the efficiency and profitability of the Truck Center.Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
  • Oversee all service operations, including scheduling, workflow, and quality control.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and parts, to optimize overall operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory and parts ordering to ensure efficient and timely repairs.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Lead Hand or Supervisor in the Medium/ HD Truck or Equipment sector.
  • Journeyman Certification - Red Seal Tech
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of truck service operations and maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications.
