Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:Our client requires a Hydro Testing Technician to join their fabrication team. This company manufactures large pipe spools that are used in oil & gas mining. Once the pipes have been fabricated in shop, they are pressure tested to ensure no leaks. The hydro tester will attach fittings the openings off the pipe, and pump water into the pipe at up to 1000 PSI.Daily Responsibilities:

  • Operating overhead crane and forklift
  • Using impact drills to put in plugs and fittings in pipe openings
  • Operate water pump tanks
  • Various other shop tasks
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3+ years experience in an industrial/manufacturing/construction setting
  • Overhead crane experience
  • Reliable transportation (site not transit accessible)
  • Willing to submit to pre-screening D/A and back check
WORK ENVIRONMENT:This candidate will work on one of the below shifts - will not rotate.
