Job Description

Central City Brewers and Distillers is a craft brewery in the business of developing and selling international award-winning premium craft beer and high-quality distilled spirits brewed without compromise. Based in Surrey, British Columbia, CCBD was voted Canada Best Brewery of the Year in 2010 and 2012. Its Red Racer brand has become a cult icon among craft beer enthusiasts throughout North America. Founded in 2003 as a brewpub and liquor store in downtown Surrey, CCBD celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2013 with the grand opening of a brand new, 68,000 sq. ft. brewery and distillery on Bridgeview Drive. In 2019 we opened a 40,000 sq. ft. storage facility with approximately 2000 barrels of whiskey ageing in this facility. We are proud of being a local-Canadian Brewery that is currently expanding. In 2021 the company completed installation of a new canning line designated for contract manufacturing.JOB SUMMARYThe Strategic Partnership Manager is responsible for the management of both our existing sales pipelines and developing new business opportunities. Working with internal and external clients to ensure coordination and completion of projects on time and to ensure deliverables fall within budget and scope is an integral part of the role.Reporting to the VP Operations, the Strategic Partnership Manager needs to be familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
  • Ensure customers’ contractual obligations are met which include production and capacity commitments, logistics obligations, raw materials availability, and finished goods quality
  • Oversee all aspects of ongoing contracts - set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project; prepare reports for upper management regarding project status
  • Working with cross functional teams to drive sustainable resolution to systematic problems that impact our customers
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation; perform risk management to minimize business risks
  • Negotiation of key agreements to establish best-in-class terms, support, quality, delivery, payment, and deliverables.
  • Develop a detailed business development plan to monitor and track progress; report and escalate as needed
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Cultivate strong relationships with partner’s key stakeholders
  • Track performance, specifically to analyze successful completion of short/long-term goal
  • Meet budgetary objectives; make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/DESIRED ATTRIBUTES
  • Bachelors Degree in business administration
  • At least 5 years of experience with all forms of alcohol manufacturing licensing
  • Expert knowledge of alcohol beverage industry; experience working with CRA is preferred
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Expert analytical and relationship building skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
