Job DescriptionIn the position of Production Operators, the employee is responsible for producing various products on the production line while operating and maintaining various pieces of equipment on the production line. They will be trained and educated on lock out procedures and safe practices when it comes to equipment handling as it applies to the job.Key Duties and responsibilities · Ability to work shifts ranging from 8, 10, to 12 hours which may include nights and weekends.· Dependable, punctual as working in a safe, clean and healthy work environment is extremely important to operation.· Math skills. Must possess basic math skills, especially knowledge of fractions, in order to precisely mix recipes, weigh ingredients, or adjust mixes.· Physical stamina. Must on their feet for extended periods while they prepare and operate production equipment.· Physical strength. Will be required to lift and carry heavy bags of flour and other ingredients, which may weigh up to but no more than 50 pounds.· Upholds and complies with company procedures, standards and policies in all situations including health and safety standards and regulations.· Ability to learn quickly, pays attention to detail as working as working with food product.· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as production runs on a schedule.· Learning the different job duties and steps involved with each stage of production.· Monitor quality of product and report any quality issues.· Cleaning of production equipment as needed (this may include sweeping, blowing with air, washing dishes).· Ensure checklist are followed and used properly.· Ensure all necessary paperwork is maintained and kept up to date.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $12.75-$14.25 per hourBenefits:
