We showcase our products in our Cafe and Retail shop.We provide delicious cups of coffee, espresso-based beverages, cold brewed iced coffees and nitro coffee - as well as a selection of non-caffeinated beverages and a selection of bakery snack items. We also retail our fresh roasted beans as well as a variety of brewing equipment, grinders, Picadilly merch and more! We pride ourselves on being a comfortable, fun and welcoming environment Our team strives for excellence and takes pride in their positions and the accomplishments of our growing business.The Position: BARISTAWe are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team. Our atmosphere is fun and inviting and very job oriented. We require someone with a strong work ethic and a keen desire to learn and grow with the business.This position is posted as a part-time (approximately 25-30hrs/week) with strong possibility of full-time hours in near future. Hourly wage to be negotiated. Experience and qualifications will be considered.Must have the ability to work during all of our business hours; this may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. Business hours are subject to change.Barista Skills and Responsibilities: The following are a selection of tasks and responsibilities for this position. This list is not exclusive and may change or alter at any time.

• Greet, welcome and educate customers by presenting/explaining our offerings, answers questions and make suggestions.
• Take orders and pay great attention to detail.
• Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, espresso lungo, caffe latte, and cappuccino. Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers; selling coffee and coffee grinding and brewing equipment, accessories, and supplies;
• Prepare and serve non-coffee drinks as well as food items such as pastries and other snack items.
• Maintain inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and other front end items, as needed.

• Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance and proper cleaning procedures; reporting need for service or repairs.
• Sells coffees and coffee grinding and brewing equipment by explaining differences in coffee beans and coffee preparation machines; demonstrating how brewing equipment operates.
• Generates revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading coffee related literature, barista tutorials; maintaining personal networks.
• Enhances coffee shop reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Barista Qualifications / Skills:

• Excellent customers service skills
• Able to work in a busy, fast paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
• Must be able to take direction and adapt easily.
• Must be good at multi-tasking.
• Excels in a team environment.
• Able to observe health and safety requirements.
• Must be action oriented, both with direction and without. Must be able to prioritize tasks and keep busy.
• Great communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Reliable
• Basic math skills in order to run POS, take orders and count cash.
• Energetic and have the ability to stand long hours on your feet.
• Must be able to implement safe lifting, carrying and moving techniques for up to

50lbs.

• Must love to have fun and enjoy coffee- and be willing to participate in tasting and cupping!

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
• Prior café or coffee shop experience a definite plus
• Familiarity operating a point-of-sale software
