Job Description

The Position:Natural Market Team Member / Retail Sales AssociateThe sales associate is responsible for processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. They are responsible for cash register operations, stocking inventory, merchandising, setting up food sampling events, inventory counting and keeping the market area tidy and well stocked.Additionally, they are responsible for client membership services including registrations and renewals from the Simply for Life Program as well creating, posting and scheduling social media content and marketing emails. This person will have an interest in health food, nutrition, cooking, healthy living and be a passionate Foodie!The Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English with customers, peers and management
  • Telephone etiquette
  • Social Media savvy and is willing to produce social media content such as videos and pictures. Experience with social media as it applies to business pages is considered an asset.
  • Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
  • Physical demands: This position involves constant moving, talking, listening, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two consecutive hours.

  • Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends
