Job Description

At Cordeiro Roofing Ltd, we are currently seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a full-service Industrial/Commercial Roofingamp; Sheet Metal Contractors, we have been providing top-notch services since our incorporation in 1987, and we pride ourselves on delivering quick response times and on-site assessments along with digitized evaluations. At our head office in Toronto, Ontario, we have a team of 100 dedicated employees who service most regions of Ontario. We provide 24-hour emergency service, repair/maintenance crews, production crews, retrofit crews, shingle crews, and sheet metal crews for all roofing and sheet metal projects. Our Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing our projects and ensuring their timely completion, while maintaining an overall high level of quality.Responsibilities

  • Overseeing construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Developing project plans, goals, and budgets; and identifying the resources needed.
  • Preparing and presenting progress and budget reports to the senior management team.
  • Managing contractors and internal teams to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Establishing relationships with clients and stakeholders and ensure their satisfaction with completed projects.
  • Negotiating contracts with architects, vendors, contractors, and other workers ensuring a fair deal for both parties.
  • Reviewing and approving project designs and changes to ensure they are within project scope.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor #39;s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
  • Experience working with multiple project budgets and schedules.
