Robert Half is are seeking Senior Project Managers in the Toronto, Ontario area to work with our local client by joining an existing team working onsite. One requirement for this position is to be responsible for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project. The person we hire should be able to manage key projects as part of our client #39;s strategic business plan. Seeking a permanent role This opportunity with a company in the Service field might be the next career move you #39;ve been searching for.Major responsibilities- Engages and communicates with designers, technical team members, developers, and stakeholders- Oversees project planning- Facilitates to classify, manage, and identify risk for functional improvement requests- Assembles with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects- Administers deployment scheduling in coordination with tech lead, Product Owner, and Dev Ops- Complies with Product Owner/Product Manager to make certain that the product vision and high-level business objectives are explicit and practical- Coordinates and directs the sprint planning and grooming meetings and marks ticket assignments- Work in close cooperation with the Business Analyst, QA Manager, Product Owner/Product Manager, and Product Specialist- Monitors and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner- Manage the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products- Sets forth project with accurate ticket workflows and boards- Plans schedules and milestones, manages project scope and timelines, and inputs from all other teams assigns to that product- Works with the Product Owner/Product Manager to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap- Facilitates the daily stand-ups, ensuring they are timely, focused and brief- Functions as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - clearing obstacles, ensuring the team is working effectively, and leading scrum ceremonies- Provides the RACI matrix for projects in a product line- Convenes material from technical leads, business analysts, and QA leads into advice- Provide that the functional requirements are met, tracked, and achievable- Present detailed reporting to management on risk assessment, project status, and milestone completion- Assist cross-product teams to manage dependenciesJob Requirements:- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant Project Management experience- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues- Prior success in project management, supervisory leadership, and operational management- Strong problem solving and analytical skills- Ability to meet deadlines- Excellent oral and written communications skills- You might be a good fit for this position if you have a Project Management (PMP) certification- It is preferred for applicants to have proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools- Flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments- Candidates who are familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies will be preferred- General familiarity with change management- Infrastructure Projects experience- Project Scheduling experience required- Proven knowledge of Builds Relationships- Well-founded grasp of PMBOK- proposals and RFPs experience- Strong familiarity with communication- Resource Plans experience highly desired- It is preferred for applicants to have experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs- The person in this position should be flexible and focusedRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
