Job Description

Primary Care Paramedic (PCP)We have an immediate need for an Industrial PCP registered with Alberta AND Saskatchewan to join our team!.A day in the life of a primary care paramedic requires courage and compassion; facing diverse and interesting situations where you directly affect peoples lives by your actions.Location of Project: Approx. 1 hour outside of Lloydminster.Duration of Projects: Approximately 3 months, starting early July.Primary Duties:

  • Ensure that injured workers are provided with immediate and professional on-site medical care within their scope of practice, and to advise and/or arrange timely transport to additional medical care as needed
  • Read, understand, and comply with HSE Integrated safety and medical services policies, Workplace Scope of Practice Guidelines, Medical Control Guidelines, as well as all applicable government laws and regulations.
  • Work within the PCP scope of practice determined by the applicable licensing body, utilizing the HSE medical control guidelines
  • Report to and take direction from the Station Manager for the district in which he/she is working
  • Other duties will be assigned as necessary
