Southwest Homes provides a variety of residential and vocational supports to individuals living with intellectual and physical disabilities. We are looking for a qualified and energetic person to fill a Full Time Permanent position as a Program Coordinator. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing several of our Programs.Key Responsibilities Include: - Providing ongoing supervision, training, and support to Program Managers (2) and Direct Support Professionals (20-40) in Community and Residential Programs- Ensuring the delivery of appropriate and effective services for participants, which can range from basic to complex supports, or to a formal Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans or interventions that align with CPP&SP- Developing, implementing, evaluating, and modifying supports to address participants’ developmental, behavioural, medical and quality of life needs- Working in conjunction with, and acting as a resource for, Program Managers and Direct Support Professionals to implement Person-Centered Plans- Teaching in a group setting- Participating in an Emergency On-Call rotationKey Qualifications and Competencies: - Disability Support Worker Certificate, or a combination of relevant post-secondary education and experience- CLSD Levels 1-3 Training and/or the willingness to complete this training- PART, TLR, CPP&SP Training will be required.
