Job Description

We encourage all qualified persons who share our values and want to contribute to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace to apply.The incumbent will work as the initial point of contact, you will ensure excellent customer service as the receptionist for the Sydney office. You will greet visitors, and provide appropriate direction, and assistance as well as administrative support to our operations.In this role, you will:

  • Maintain excellent reception, customer service and local office administrative support responsibilities.
  • Manage the phone line and forward to the appropriate person.
  • Ensure visitors follow security procedures by signing in. Issue visitor passes, and contacts appropriate employee(s) to escort visitor, as applicable.
  • Assist warehouse with incoming packages, and couriers.
  • Provide administrative support services, through the efficient use of technology as requested.
  • Provide additional support with the Health Equipment Loan Program as needed. This may include assisting customers with equipment pickup and return.
  • Additional duties as required.
What we are looking for:
  • Demonstrated professional skill set in customer service or office administration and one-year work related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, including telephone etiquette.
  • A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills able to adapt your communication style to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • A multi-tasker who can stay organized and move effortlessly between working with clients and administrative work.
  • An adaptive team player who can successfully navigate the unexpected, respond to changing needs and apply lessons learned.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural difference.
