We truly believe that magic happens on this little island.Breton Brewing Co. is a young and growing business seeking an enthusiastic, quality focused, and team-oriented Brewer / Cellar Hand who wants to join an amazing team! The ideal candidate will be a driven individual who wants to work in an attractive but high paced work environment.Responsibilities:

• Prepare the brewing processes and brew work according to brew schedule
• Documentation of the brewing process
• Develop beer recipes, being innovative in new brews
• Sanitize and clean tanks and brewing equipment
• Assist staff with day-to-day tasks, problems and needs concerning equipment, supplies, etc.
• Cellaring work according to brew planning
• Dry hopping, fruiting large scale brews
• Monitor quality and temperature of fermenting beers daily.
• Traceability of ingredients
• Beer transfers between tanks
• Operating a centrifuge
• Responsibility for carbonation of the product to have it ready for canning
• Yeast management
• Cleaning incoming kegs and store them
• Assisting the brewing and production team - canning, kegging, boxes, etc.
• Inventory management
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Comfortable working alone and in a team setting

Who we’re looking for:

• Education in the Brewing field considered an asset
• Experience in the Brewing Industry considered an asset
• Meticulous cleaner who can uphold Breton Brewing’s high standards
• Self-directed with strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a high-paced environment
• Ability to be flexible with schedule (evenings, weekends)
• Technical / Mechanical inclined
• Product knowledge is an asset
• Forklift certificate
• Must be able to lift kegs (30lbs – 150lbs)
• Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual
• Must have a positive, strong work ethic and be able to work alone and in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and pays close attention to detail
• Can work in a stressful and fast-paced environment
• Team oriented
