Requisition ID: 126054Opportunity Type: PermanentEstimated Annual Salary: 350,000 - 400,000Type of Remuneration: FFS - Fee For ServiceSite Visit & Reallocation Allowance Programs: Relocation Program; Site Visit ProgramDepartment of Health & Wellness Incentives: Debt Assistance; Tuition ReliefAbout This OpportunityWe have a great opportunity for a critical care physician to work in a large regional ICU setting in beautiful Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. The Cape Breton Regional Hospital (CBRH) is a large centre with multiple subspecialty support, busy surgical service, and a 14-bed ICU. The position would involve covering 7 ICU beds every third week. When not in the ICU, both inpatient and outpatient general medical services expected with a fee for service remuneration model.Plans are underway for a new rebuild of the ICU facilities along with CCU, the Emergency Department and Cancer Centre. Qualifications
  • Candidates must be certified, or eligible for certification, by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC),
  • eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS) and
  • satisfy the credentialing requirements of the Nova Scotia Health Authority.
