Clean Foundation is currently looking to hire a Lead – Financial Reporting and Analytics to join our team! Reporting to the Vice President, Program Delivery, the Lead – Financial Reporting and Analytics is responsible for monitoring financial activity of programs across the organization. Working collaboratively alongside project managers and members of senior leadership team, the Lead – Financial Reporting and Analytics is responsible for informing financial forecasts, tracking financial health of programs, and creating systems that aid in funder reporting.Duties and Responsibilities:· Responsible for creating financial tracking and reporting mechanisms that align with various project contracts.· Responsible for supporting planning, monitoring, and reporting and project costs control in a Project Management environment.· Participate in monthly project monitoring such as: assessing overall performance of the project according to principles of project management, analyzing discrepancies between the baseline budget and schedule and supporting corrective actions.· Assist the management team with ongoing working project budgets and submission of bi-annual budget forecasts.· Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders, including quarterly and annual financial reporting to funders, the senior leadership team, and the Board of Directors.· Participate in the development of financial decision-making strategies with the project management team.· Work collaboratively with the program development team to establish resource plans and tracking mechanisms for new projects.· Maintaining consistent and positive working relations Clean’s team of project managers and members of the senior leadership team· Conduct financial analysis on existing projects to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.· Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and accounting standards.Position Requirements/Qualifications:· Must be a Canadian citizen or legally entitled to work in Canada.· Must be able to provide a clear criminal record and credit check.· 3 years experience in managing financial operations or program management.· Fluent with Excel, Microsoft Word and general understanding of office administration· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices· Proficient in the use of Quickbooks Online( QBO)· Proficient in financial management reporting· Experience in interpreting contribution agreements in a government of non-profit environment· Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail· Strong communication and interpersonal skillsWorking Conditions:Clean actively encourages a healthy work life balance and aims to ensure standard working hours are 35 hours per week. There may be occasion where additional hours, or time outside of the standard work hours, may be required to meet operational requirements.
