Lynk is recruiting for innovative and collaborative candidates for a Project Coordinator position in Sydney, Nova Scotia. As the Project Coordinator, you will report directly to the Electrical Manager and you will assist in the day-to-day administration tasks of the division. Provide project support, including:Obtain and submit shop drawings, track shop drawing progress including reviews and resubmissions as required.Coordinate and organize assembly of operation and maintenance manuals.Assist in compiling project schedules, commissioning and closeout documentation. Maintain material Safety Data Sheet and WHMIS information. Assist with material take-offs and project change orders. Assist with project tender and bid submissions, interpreting project specifications and drawings. Attend project meetings as required.Who are we looking for The successful candidate will be a graduate from a recognized engineering technology program and/or have 10 + years’ experience in the electrical construction industry and will: Have great communication skills with the ability to work closely and effectively with other departments, team members, suppliers, general and subcontractors Be a detail-oriented and self-directed individual with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workloads and meet deadlines. Work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment and be willing to work additional hours to meet deadlines as required.
