A local craft brewery located in Sydney, Nova Scotia, on the beautiful island of Cape Breton. We truly believe that Magic Happens on This Little Island.Breton Brewing Co. is seeking an enthusiastic, quality-focused, and team-oriented SeasonalPackaging Assistant to add to our amazing team! The ideal candidate will be a driven individual who can work consistently in a high-paced, physically demanding environment.Responsibilities Include:

  • Working as part of a team on our rotary automatic canning line, including packaging and palletizing finished products.
  • Cleaning & filling kegs
  • Warehouse stocking, organization, and cleaning
  • Preparing keg and can deliveries (CBRM, Cape Breton & Halifax)
  • Commercial and home deliveries in CBRM and Cape Breton
  • Greenspace maintenance and cleaning at the brewery
  • General brewery cleaning and sanitation
  • Other production-related activities
  • Package and deliver online orders. Following strict industry guidelines on ensuring all alcohol regulations are followed
  • Communicate with patrons on our COVID protocols when delivering
  • Load our delivery vehicles properly with weight distribution, fastening of load, and transporting with a loaded vehicle
  • Responsible for delivering the products to our commercial accounts, bringing back empty kegs, and completing driving logbooks in accordance with transportation regulations.

  • Must intend to return to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year
