The NexSource Recreation Centre is a 155,000+ square foot multi-use recreation centre locatedin the lakeside Town of Sylvan Lake. Our facility offers many amenities such as a swimmingpool, two regulation ice rinks, a five sheet curling rink, a running track and fitness area,concession, full service viewing lounge, childrens play space, childminding services, seniorscentre and rental spaces. The NexSource Centre is also host to tourist services, cultural andspecial events. Workwith an amazing team of recreation and community minded people in following position:Concession & Food Service Attendants Level II – 6 Positions• Casual/Part Time with Flexibility to work days/evenings/weekends• Starting Wage $16.19 per hour plus tip sharingThis key position is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the operation of theconcession and food preparation for both the concession and lounge.Responsibilities: Prepare/Cook and serve food orders for customers in the Concession and Lounge Process payments Preparation, delivery, presentation and setup of banquets May assist with supply ordering and inventory Provide excellent customer service Maintain the concession and equipment in an organized, clean, welcomingmanner at all times Verify and deposit cash from the Concessions cash registers Promote, support and enforce all Health and Safety guidelines, safe workpractices, safety data sheets, Provincial Occupational Health and Safety Actrequirements and Alberta Health Services requirements for food handlingQualifications RCMP based Criminal Record Check Alberta Food Safety Basics online course preferred Standard First Aid with CPR preferred Experience in a fast paced environment Customer Service, Line Cooking Experience Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License preferredThis is a tremendous opportunity to work in a professional, team focused environment.
