With abundant year round recreational and cultural activities, we have definitely earnedthe name of “Brilliant All Year!”Do you want the chance to work with an amazing team where learning and thoroughcommunication is an ongoing experience Do you want to have fun at the same time asproviding a critical service to the entire Town If you are interested in this tremendousopportunity, we have an immediate opening for:NexSource Recreation Centre ReceptionistsPart Time - Starting Wage - $17.72Reporting to the Recreation and Culture Reception Coordinator, this position is responsible forproviding administrative duties and superb customer service at the main Reception (Check In andVisitor Information) desk at Town of Sylvan Lake’s NexSource Centre.SUMMARY OF FUNCTION: Maintaining excellent customer service by providing knowledgeable information directlyto users of the facility and visitors to the community. Respond to phone and email inquiries. Complete program registrations. Process customer payments, balance cash batches and prepare bank deposits. Assist residents with paid parking registration and payments. Maintain and prepare facility bookings including picnic shelters and parties. Provide administrative and clerical support for the Recreation, Culture and TourismDepartment. Administration and full knowledge of the Perfect Mind software system, Outlook, Officeand relevant software applications. Input program information into Perfect Mind recreation software. Serve as part of the emergency response team.TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Administrative Experience and/or Training Preferred Tremendous customer service skills Ability to work in fast paced, customer focused environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Standard First Aid and CPR Part of our departments emergency response team Ability to handle a difficult situation Experience in a sports or recreational setting either working, coaching or relativeexperience/knowledge Successful completion of Criminal Record CheckThis is a terrific opportunity to work in a professional, team focused environment.
