Job Description

We’re looking for a General Manager to join us at Hello Sunshine! A Banff sushi restaurant with private karaoke rooms! Our retro space features eye-catching fire tables, a sushi bar, groovy décor and all the good vibes. Menu highlights include shareable bar bites, sushi, maki rolls, ramen, and crispy fried dishes paired with handcrafted cocktails, sake and Japanese whiskey. Want to learn more Check us out here: https://www.hellosunshinebanff.com/ General ManagerThe General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business operations of the venue. Through the exercise of discretion and independent judgment, the GM has overall supervisory and managerial responsibility for the daily operations of a single venue ensuring desired outcomes (i.e., increased sales, profitability, and employee retention). The GM mobilizes the venue management team to oversee the financial controls, operations, people development, guest experience and compliance within the venue.We Love Perks! This Position Includes:

What You’ll Do:
  • If it’s happening in the restaurant, you are a part of it! Planning, executing, elevating - you do it all
  • You like systems and processes, so you’ll focus on getting those right for your team
  • You do what it takes to increase sales and minimize costs without compromising quality
  • Manage all areas of the restaurant and makes final decisions on matters of importance
  • Effectively communicate and interact with all departments across the venue including BOH management team, as well as BHC Head Office

What You Have:

  • You don #39;t shy away from working with various types of technology and systems
  • Flexible schedule required
  • Proven success in a General Manager role is an asset
  • Previous experience in a similar position is required
  • ProServe certification required
