Working together to provide essential services to communities across Western Canada, we are hiring a Customer Service Associate on a temporary basis at our Grassy Lake in Grassy Lake, Alberta. We are open to exploring ongoing remote work options with candidates for this position. This position will need to be located within 100 km from the Grassy Lake Terminal, as occasional on-site work is needed.Who we are: As a co-operative, we do business differently. To learn more about who we are, visit www.fcl.crs.What you’ll do: Customer Service Associate processes accounts payable and accounts receivables invoices within set deadlines. Interact with suppliers to rectify invoices. In addition, assist Fertilizer Specialist in supplier purchase order, retail co-op work order, and release number management. Provide backup coverage for Grassy Lake Terminal Coordinator in the execution of the fertilizer order fulfillment management process which includes movement of inventory (receives and ship product) and retail invoice management.· Assist with Accounts Payable (purchase order invoice) and Accounts Receivable (Local Co-op invoice) processing in the Fertilizer department.· Assist the Fertilizer Specialist for the sourcing and purchase of primary and secondary nutrient fertilizer products including:o Supplier Purchase Order setup and communication to supplierso Local Co-op work order setup and communicationo Release Number management (purchase order/ work order) documentation and communication· Interact with suppliers to rectify accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices.· Provide backup coverage and assist Grassy Lake Terminal Coordinator:o Schedule and verify inbound / outbound truck traffic to maintain efficiency and accuracyo Ability to receive inventory into the terminalo Communicate shipping/receiving details to terminal operations staffo Maintain documentation, including carrier release numbers, work orders, inbound / outbound product documentation, invoices and contractso Perform and document carrier orientations· Provide assistance, support and general information to Local Co-ops related to fertilizer products.· Works closely with the Fertilizer Merchants to ensure the processing of supplier and Local Co-op invoices are completed in a timely fashion.· Other duties as assigned.Why it matters: Our Agro team helps to feed and grow Western Canadian communities by sourcing and distributing products and services to local Co-ops in the feed, crop supplies and fertilizer business.Who you are: You are looking for a career in Administration and:

  • You have a High School Diploma
  • You have a minimum of Two years of year of relevant experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable or Administration.
  • You’re familiar with managing a diverse and changing workload in a fast-paced environment. Intermediate experience with the Microsoft Office suite of software (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Superior accuracy and problem-solving skills
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
