Job Description

Together, we are stronger and achieve more .Viterra is seeking to fill a Field Representative, Trainee position. The successful candidate will gain experience in working with edible dry beans and the grower base. This position will also be very involved in the annual varietal research program . In addition, this position is accountable for obtaining business results as established through business planning and goal setting.Key Responsibilities:

  • Help establish and collect data from our research in our Southern Alberta sites.
  • Help support the field representatives in their capacity to service our customers by gaining exposure in agronomic consulting.
  • Field scouting as required.
  • Gain experience working with growers by contacting customer base.
  • Other duties as required.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships with current and potential future customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Efficient in MS office and experience utilizing relevant computer software programs.
Education and Qualifications:
  • Certificate in or currently enrolled in Agriculture, Agri-Business Certificate, or equivalent post-secondary education.
