Reporting to the Meat Manager, the Meat Cutter is responsible for delivering world-class customer service, preparing and packaging cuts of meat, poultry and seafood, merchandising and displaying packaged meat, and maintaining department cleanliness and housekeeping standards.Qualifications: Candidates must possess Meat Cutting Certification, be currently enrolled and have completed the first practicum of the Meat Cutting Certification Program or have a minimum of 2 years of retail meat cutting work experience. Must be at least 18 years of age.High School diploma or equivalent; or an acceptable combination of education and experienceKnowledge of ordering and receiving procedures desiredExcellent internal and external customer service skillsHigh level of integrity and work ethicAbility to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environmentPositive attitude with a willingness to learn
