Working together, we grow and sustain the agriculture industry in Alberta.Posting will close November 21, 2022.Location is flexible, within Alberta, dependent on the successful applicant.This position is a one-year secondment.Reporting to the Vice President – Insurance/AgriStability/WLPIP, the Team Leader is responsible to manage, oversee and coordinate the allocation of work and execution of activities of the Relationship Manager Insurance (RMI) role.ResponsibilitiesCommunicate and collaborate with the full Client Service network to support the RMI team in executing on the AFSC strategic plan and meeting client service expectations.Coach and develop a team to deliver an exceptional client experience.Create development and training plans to enhance skills of each team member.Develop and deliver budget plans with guidance from the VP Insurance/AgriStability/WLPIP.Make hiring decisions and handle escalated issues within the assigned teamAssign and review work, assess performance, coach team members, and approve training.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesEffectively builds formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization.Builds strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments.Plans and prioritizes work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.Uses expertise to act as organizational authority on planning, organizing, prioritizing and overseeing activities to efficiently meet business objectives.Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to act independently while guiding and training others on managing client accounts in a way that provides benefits both for the organization and its clients.Education and ExperienceCollege Diploma with 8 years of related experienceOR University Degree with 6 years of related experienceEquivalencies of education or experience may be considered.About AFSCFor over 80 years Agriculture Financial Services (AFSC) has provided Albertas agricultural producers and agribusinesses with loans, crop insurance and farm income disaster assistance.
