Candidates who can plan and direct all accounting operational functions, handle the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluate accounting and internal control systems, and lead departmental staff, will be preferred for this position. Responsibilities - Manage the creation of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them on a monthly basis - Direct finance department activities, such as accounts payable, billingsamp; collections, and payroll - Respond on items beyond formal job responsibilities - Support punctual cash collection by managing the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques - Analyze, apply and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies - Produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash - Research, plan and implement Finance Department initiatives including software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed - Present monthly financial reports to executive committee and partners - Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure that firm-wide operation is efficient and effective - Assess deliverables of self and team to verify they meet client expectations - Responsible for month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliationsamp; G/L analysis - CPA designation - The ideal candidate comes from a similar Construction Business Model of Sales, Warehousing of Construction Products, followed by Installation. - Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment - Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities - Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills - Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement - Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines Robert Half is the world #39;s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
