Responsible as the Operations Specialist based out of our Markham, CAN location, we are looking for a candidate with an interest in supply chain and inventory management. Responsibilities : - Coordinate work of various departments on quality control - Supervise and ensure the correct procedures are followed on purchase orders: - Check quotes are accurate and obtain approvals. - Entering purchase order in the software - Sales acknowledgements sent out - Invoices are generated - Schedule timely invoicing for semiconductor chips - Track delivery - Data entry for all goods and services received and shipped - Supervise and ensure correct schedules and allocations of deliveries - Generate reports on all shipments on weekly/monthly basis - Provide assessment and feedback of shipping and receiving staff performance and ensure quality standards are met - Oversee and ensure receipt of the orders from the customers and all purchasing transactions - Support customer EDI entries, scheduling and order fulfillment - Coordinate liaison for shipping and receiving transaction between the US and Canadian departments - Maintain up-to date knowledge about all current and new products of the company - Coordinate and supervise shipment of the orders according to the delivery date - Maintain accurate entries in the system for sensor board requests from engineering and design teams - Oversee internal company logistics between Canadian and US teams and ensure the product parts availability - Roll up bill-of-materials and track cost of goods - Monitor inventory levels to ensire it has enough stock to sell, ship or deliver - Train newly hired staff on proper company procedures and job duties - Train newly hired staff on safety procedures - Oversee internal company logistics and ensure timely restock office supplies - Co-ordinate with IT in US for any additions to netapp space in the Toronto office or getting laptops setup for new hires - Schedule regular and on as needed basis maintenance and repair of the office equipment Requirements: - College diploma in Finance, Accounting or Business preferred - 1-2 years of work experience in accounting or supply logistics preferred - Tensoft FSM (Fabless Semiconductor Management) and Great Plains experience is desirable - Detail oriented, with strong data entry/checking skills - Possess strong PC knowledge (especially Excel, including pivot table, basic formulas application, etc.) - Possess strong data analysis skill.
