Job Description

IKON Complete Inc. is a Recruitmentamp; Search Firm specializing in identifying,amp; sourcing top performers for our clientele. Position: Prototype Engineering SupervisorLocation: Vaughan, ONSalary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year (Depending on experience)Industry: Manufacturing / HVAC/ Mechanical/ ElectricalEmployment Term: Full Time / Permanent Rolesamp; Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supervising the planning, execution, and completion of engineering prototype builds
  • Develop assembly methods and techniques for use by production team
  • Manage and mentor a team of technicians
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that prototypes meet design specifications and performance requirements
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing to identify and resolve any issues or defects
  • Oversee the documentation of prototype development processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualificationsamp; Experience:
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or Technologist or equivalent
  • 3 - 6 years of experience in Prototype Builds or similar in a manufacturing setting
  • 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership position
  • Skilled in using power tools, hand tools, soldering and welding equipment etc.
  • Strong technical background in mechanical and electrical engineering
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
