A Day in the Life

• Lead the development and implementation of our QA Automation framework, constantly integrating cutting-edge technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Foster a culture of continuous innovation, staying abreast of industry advancements and recommending new technologies to keep our testing processes at the forefront.
• Develop and communicate comprehensive guidelines and best practices, upholding the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and manage a scalable QA automation strategy that aligns seamlessly with project delivery objectives.
• Guide the team in designing and integrating automation testing frameworks, ensuring a smooth transition from existing processes and systems.
• Spearhead the professional development of current QA personnel, aiding their transition to automation roles and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
• Build a collaborative work environment that encourages knowledge sharing and mutual growth, developing a proficient team of automation QA professionals.
• Work closely with various teams, including product owners and end-users, to clarify requirements and ensure optimal incorporation in the automation framework.
• Engage actively in all Agile ceremonies, promoting agile methodologies within the team and steering efforts towards unified goals.
• Lead the development, execution, and management of test cases within stipulated timelines, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
• Advocate for continuous improvement, identifying and implementing areas for enhancement within the software and its quality parameters.

What You #39;ll Bring:

• A minimum of 7-10 years of extensive experience in spearheading QA Automation frameworks, particularly in leveraging the latest technologies and tools in the market.
• Proven track record as an SDET with a history of successful implementation of modern automation frameworks and processes in agile environments.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Experience with API Testing (REST/JSON, SOAP/XML, Postman).
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, prioritization, and organization skills.
• Comfortable using Kibana and familiar with testing across desktop and mobile browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari).
• Proficiency in using Chrome DevTools to identify and investigate issues with web applications.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, setting and managing priorities effectively.

Technical Proficiency in Latest QA Automation Technologies

• Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as Node JS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java, integral for scripting automated tests and integrating various frameworks.
• Test Automation Tools: Extensive experience with test automation tools like Playwright or Cypress, Selenium, and Cucumber, enabling comprehensive and efficient testing processes.
• Cloudamp; CI/CD Integrations: Hands-on experience with Azure CI/CD pipelines, facilitating seamless development to deployment workflows.
• Cross-Browser Testing Integrations: Experience with integrating BrowserStack/Lambda test platforms for automated cross-browser testing.
• Containerizationamp; Virtualization: Skill in utilizing tools like Docker and Kubernetes for creating uniform testing environments.
• Scripting Languages: Deep knowledge in scripting languages such as Python, essential for crafting automated testing scripts.
• Mobile Testing: Skilled in mobile testing utilizing tools like Appium for automating tests on diverse platforms.
