Job Description

New Rubber Technologies (NRT) is looking for Compound Operators to join our team! At NRT you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, upbeat environment, surrounded by great company culture. We operate a clean and safe facility, and we are looking for an individual who reflects our values. No experience is necessary for this job; it is an asset, but we are willing to train candidates.New Rubber Technologies is proud to ship its products across North America. As a Compound Operator, you will take pride in knowing you helped create quality products that are enjoyed by customers on an international basis.Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Operate primary compound line in accordance with equipment specifications and standard quality production procedures maintaining finished product dimensions between tolerance ranges specified per product SKU of product to be made.
  • Set up the line to include setting heat controls, selecting tools, cooling devices, and the compound recipe specified.
  • Set up and operate all necessary support equipment.
  • Unload and correctly identify and store finished products with completed batch records attached.
  • Assist other operators in start-up, shutdown, and change-over procedures.
  • Call technicians and maintenance when needed.
  • Fill out all reports supplying information to needed areas on the product produced.
  • Work with team to achieve goal-oriented batch targets.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties around machine areas.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Excellent attendance and time management skills.
  • .Good physical stamina.
    • Standing for long periods of time.
    • Able to live more than 30lbs repeatedly over an 8-hour shift.
    • Working in the heat.
    • Fast-paced and high-pressure work environment.
  • Able to work as a team and independently.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
