Reporting to the Executive Chef, this person will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction goals by preparing food as per the specifications, setting up stations for the menu, and assisting the Executive Chef with daily tasks. Specific duties would include, but are not limited to:Prepare food for service and cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.Clean up station and take care of leftover food.Stock inventory appropriately.Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.Job QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in a similar environmentCulinary school diploma or working towards itSound industry and product knowledge as well as industry’s best practicesKnowledge of Health and Safety Sanitation StandardsRed Seal or equivalent, knowledge of Labour Cost Control and Food Cost Control Perimeters is an assetUnderstanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and proceduresFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidaysWe thank all candidates for their interest, however only those being considered for an interview will be contacted.The Boulevard Club is an inclusive work environment and as such, has a workplace accommodation policy in place.
