Job Description

Dark Slope is a Toronto-based studio re-inventing television and games using metaverse technologies. We are dedicated to creativity and innovation, and utilize game engine technology to deliver the next generation of entertainment experiences to global audiences. Our team works together creating content for NBC Universal, Nickelodeon, MTV, Warner Media, NBC, and TVOntario amongst others.We are looking to build our team to help us create our next batch of exciting new entertainment properties! Our employees have a voice in our work to revolutionize the workplace and consumer entertainment with spatial technologies.*The Role*Dark Slope is seeking several 3D Animators to work closely with our in-house creative team to help clean up body and facial capture and bring our animated characters to life!*This is a remote position.*Responsibilities

  • High-quality clean-up of motion capture data and 3D animation under tight deadlines
  • Retargeting motion and facial capture data onto characters
  • Collaborate with production team to strengthen our motion and facial capture data pipelines
Useful Skills & Experience
  • Experience in VR or user-generated content
  • Understanding of game engine features in video games
  • Able to use and modify scripts in various languages (MEL/Python/Blueprints/C++)
  • Ability to solve complex problems with simple solutions
  • Capacity to think outside the box to overcome technical challenges
