Job Description

Stylr is a creative studio that specializes in Metaverse dream-like architectural spaces.What we offer: Our goal is to find support for our production and creative research team while providing training that builds skill sets, bolsters resumes, and forms connections. You will gain detailed knowledge of production and workflow processes from a commercial perspective as well as direct training from our Creative Director. *Role Overview:We are looking for a 3D artist with a keen eye for design and composition; somebody who can manipulate light and shadow, color and texture, and tell a story through imagery. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely. To be eligible, the candidate must be eligible to work in Canada. Training will be provided.In this role, you’ll most often:

  • Model realistic furniture items and architectural scenes in 3ds Max or Maya.
  • Design architectural dreamspaces. Google ‘Dreamscapes and Artificial Architecture’.
  • Texture and light 3d architectural scenes in 3ds Max and Corona renderer.
  • Optimizing models and converting them to game engine ready models.
  • Working from provided guidelines and creative direction, offering own creative input.
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:
  • Strong conceptualization and creative illustration skills.
  • Keen eye for detail, lighting, and color in realistically rendered objects and environments
  • Excellent modelling and texturing skills
  • Proficiency in efficient UV unwrapping
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn new technologies as needed
  • A driven work ethic: We rely on you to take initiative and make sure things get done.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to experiment: Nothing is set in stone. We want you to be constructively critical, always interested in how we can do things better.
  • An ability to solve problems creatively
  • A never ending desire to learn from art’s present and past
  • An education in and/or passion for architecture and interior design
  • An ability to learn quickly and communicate clearly
  • Fun positive attitude
And your skills and experience include:
  • 2-3 years of experience creating high-detail, realistic 3D assets
  • Demonstrable experience with 3ds Max , Blender or Maya, Vray/Corona, Zbrush and Photoshop
  • An ability to efficiently create accurate furniture models using best practice modelling techniques.
  • A good understanding of architecture
One or more of these is a plus:
  • Marvelous Designer, Forest Pack Pro or Multiscatter
  • Unreal Engine/ Unity
  • A passion for interior design and home decor
