SJC has been recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for the last 18 years.Are you ready to join a forward-thinking, creative and collaborative team Then come join us at SJC Print as an Account Executive.Reporting into the EVP of Sales, the Account Executive’s primary responsibility will be to increase sales through identifying and selling to new business prospects and maintaining and growing business with existing clients. This position is located in Concord, Ontario.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Meet and exceed sales quotas & objectives as may be established by the Company from time to time; secure sales in a manner that supports achieving annual budget
  • Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and researching and analyzing sales opportunities through networking events, industry contacts and social media.
  • Take ownership of assigned accounts throughout the complete manufacturing process, maintaining a high level of service, responding promptly to requests for quotation, delivery and after-sale service, and introducing new products where possible
  • Actively and continually prospect for new work within assigned accounts that best suits the St. Joseph Printing technology including cold calling on potential business.
  • Prepare and submit to the Company such periodic reports on your activities, including analyses of market situations, sales prospects, ongoing negotiations and other information relating to the marketing of the products as may be required
  • Attend all press approvals.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities.
  • Endeavor to improve profitability on the account(s) & continually increase sales revenue on a yearly basis
  • Establish pre-production and post-mortem meetings where required
  • Complete and update all Quote letters, Confirmation of Orders, Dockets, Revisions, and any other information various departments related to production through any communication channels to ensure the integrity of the process and customer/St. Joseph relationship
  • Communicate and collect all additional charges and prepare an accurate invoice within 3 days of Start Ship Date.
  • Continue to develop professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional associations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.Understand client relationship and client marketing objectives, effectively balance expectations and drive customer and business success
  • Proactively assess and resolve client opportunities to provide solutions, grow opportunities and mitigate risk
  • Provide clients with reporting and performance insights in a professional and timely manner
  • Develop strong, professional relationships with client contacts
  • Present work to clients professionally and persuasively
  • Work with functional teams to ensure that SJC delivers outstanding work consistently and efficiently
  • Monitor, track and contribute to the financial management and success of assigned portfolio
  • Build awareness of SJC’s brand and capability with client decision-makers
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Post-secondary degree in a relevant field of business (Commerce, Marketing, Communication etc.)
  • Minimum five years’ experience in successful Print/Statement/Direct Mail Sales capacity
  • Must be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral, written and reading communications skills
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must pass criminal and financial background check
  • Experience overseeing print programs within integrated marketing campaigns
  • Experience in an agency environment is strongly desired
  • Strong Presentation skills – able to present company credentials to clients
  • Strong written and verbal communication capabilities – able to prepare clear, concise business documents
  • Superior time management, organizational and planning skills
  • Detail-orientated, self-motivated, flexible and able to work independently
  • A comprehensive understanding of client business goals, strategic initiatives and the ability to develop best-in-category deliverables that represent the client’s needs
