Job Description

The Accounting Manager will perform general corporate accounting. They will also be in charge of closing of books and ensuring proper financial reporting.Bilingualism in English & Korean is mandatory.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIESAccounting

  • Responsible for monthly closing and quarterly PWC audit
  • Perform GL and financial statement analysis
  • Manage long-term overdue accounts
  • Ensure compliance with company policy and procedure
Taxation
  • Assist with preparation of tax returns for corporate income and sales taxes
  • Government authorities’ tax audit
  • Custom duty monitoring and HS code monitoring & management
  • Environmental handling fees monitoring and management
Financial Reporting
  • Prepare reporting package to the parent company under IFRS
  • Prepare annual financial statement under IFRS
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and projects
  • Perform internal accounting control assessment
  • Approve vendor accounts setup
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area. Prior leadership experience is an asset
  • Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast -pace setting. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, PPT and Word.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
